A Song on Romeo's playlist

 Romeo and Juliet 

            Romeo was mesmerized and fell in love at first sight at the beautiful girl named Juliet dancing in front of a crowd(Act 1. 5 lines 51-60). Romeo couldn't take his eyes off her, his body moving unconsciously closer to Juliet. Romeo expressed his admiration and his feeling of unworthiness of Juliet, as held her hand, Romeo heart began to race fast, staring deeply into Juliet eyes as they talk for the first time( Act 1.5 lines 103-107). 

       The deep love and sense of longing that Romeo felt for Juliet can be best described by this song called "I Knew I love you" by Savage garden.

The song starts off with "Maybe it's intuition But some things you just don't question" this reflects Romeo feelings that Juliet is the one he's destined to be with and he doesn't need to question it or wonder why, it just makes sense.

As he entered the ball room the crowd fads and Juliet was the only one in his eyes. This is best shown by the line " A thousand angels dance around you" which is the crowd is the angels but even with angels around he only noticed Juliet.  

After being rejected by Rosaline, Romeo felt depressed and empty inside, but after he met Juliet "In your eyes I see the missing pieces i'm searching for" best shows Juliet filling up the emptiness that he felt from being rejected and give him the love and desires he always long for. 

After Romeo met Juliet he felt like he was back to his old self and also felt completed. He also question himself weather he have ever truly loved before( Act 1.5 line 59) best showed in the line "No Rhyme or reasons only a sense of completion". 

Even though Romeo and Juliet love will end tragically, I think this song represents a love that is destined to be and which suits Romeo and Juliet love story and how he felt after the party.

St Lucy's Home For Girls Raised By Wolves (Team Claudette) by Jissel S

                     Before the debate I was really nervous because I didn't like speaking to the whole class, but during the debate, it wasn't as bad as I that thought it would have been. The debate was based on a fictional story names "St Lucy's Home For Girls Raised By Wolves". There was three wolf girls that a team had to choose from, my team got Claudette the narrator of the story, the other two wolf girls name was Jeanette and Mirabella. Jeanette is the oldest, Claudette is the middle child, and Mirabella is the youngest. It was hard arguing for her because Claudette had a lot of bad personalities and everyone hated her meaning the other two teams would go after my team.
